New London, N. H.—Miss Susan Laing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas G. Laing, Bunree Farm, Amissville, Va., was among the 227 women who received their associate degrees from Colby Junior College on Sunday, June 3.
Miss Laing, who was awarded a Secretarial Science Associate degree with a major in medical secretarial science, was a member of the Athletic Association, the Student Alumnae Fund Association and the International Relations Club, and served on the staff of the Colbyan, the college yearbook.
Professor Howard Mumford Jones, Abbott Lawrence Lowell Professor of the Humanities at Harvard University, delivered the 125th commencement address.
