Sponsors Delegates
To Virginia State
The Woman’s Committee of the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau is sponsoring Betty Kilby and Mark Harris to Virginia’s Girls State and Boys State in July. These two programs are experiments in state and local governments with the delegates actually filling the various offices and carrying out the responsibilities of these offices.
This is the first year that a delegate from here has had an opportunity to participate in this program. The school is most appreciative of it.
