Mr. Albert C- Hensley of Castleton, Va. recently retired from the Production Department, U.S. Naval Propellant Plant, Indian Head, Md., after 24 years governLment service.
His prim' Federal service was I at the Naval Weapons Plant, Washington, D. C., where he began his government service as an apprentice machinist in 1936. Upon leaving there in May 1961, he came to the Naval Propellant Plant as a propellant handler.
Mr. Arthur G. Mayer, Director of the Production Department, read Mr. Hensley’s retirement letter, which was signed by the Commanding Officer. In the letter Captain O. A. Wesche said, "During your short tour of duty at the Naval Propellant Plant you 'have acquired many friends. Your supervisors and fellow workers all speak well of your loyalty to duty, conscientious workmanship, and quiet dignified' manner. I take this opportunity to join your
