Ground Broken For
Amissville Metihodist Church, on the Little Fork Charge, broke ground Sunday, July 29th, for the erection of an Educational Building. '
Dr. Owen T. Kelly, district superintendent of the Charlottesville District, was the guest minister, and brought a very inspiring message to the congregation. In his message, Dr. Kelly urged the people to move forward and upward to a higher plateau in life.
The new Educational Building will cost approximately $13,000 and will contain six large class rooms on the main floor. A full basement will contain a large kitchen, rest rooms, and a recreation room that can be divided into several class rooms if more rooms are needed in the future.
