Actually, the stand obtained in the wheel-trdck methcxf is better than was anticipated because of several factors; First, we did not get a clean plowing job; secondly, a shield came loose on one side of the planter which clogged the planter plate and thirdly, we did not have an experienced op erator. Conclusion . . . corn can be grown successfully this way at a worth-while saving but it requires development of the art . . . knowhow is not enough.
