Violations Complaints
The Town Council of the Town of Washington has received complaints about three violations of existing laws. It authorized this notice to apprise those guilty of violations that if they continue in the future the Council will be forced to take furjther steps. Shooting of guns and firearms in town is prohibited even on your own property as it endangers others. There has been much complaint in regard to boys shooting birds, telephone wires and light bulbs in addition to target practice. Barking dogs become a pub lie nuisance when they keep others from sleeping. Many complaints have been made about dogs constantly barking and keeping residents awake. Bicycles traveling at night should have lights both on the front and rear and should follow the traffic pattern of other vehicles. Complaints have been received by motorists and pedestrians in regard to unlighted bicycles being a hazard both on the street and sidewalk.
