The marriage of Mias Frances Byrd Blake, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Davis Blake of Greensboro, N.C., to Anthony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a wadding gown of ivory imported Alencon re-embroidered lace and silk peau de soie. Fashioned with a high scoop neckline, elbowlength sleeves and fitted bodice, the lace gown had a modified bell-shaped skirt featuring a full-cut chapel train of silk peau de soie. She wore a waistlength mantilla of matching imported lace.
