Voter registration in Rappahannock County was heavy during the last few months and on the special registration held October 3. A fourth more voters registered for Federal elections than for all elections. There Is no payment of poll taxes necessary to vote in Federal elections. By districts the number regi stering were: Wakefield, 18 Federal and 15 all elections; Hampton, 37 for Federal and 3 for all elections; Jackson, 10 Federal and 12 all; Hawthorne, 7 Federal and 2 all; Piedmont, 4 Federal and 15 all; Stonewall, 1 for Federal and 9 for all.
