A single vehicle accident and a two car collision occurred Saturday night in Rappahannock County, the first in Amissville and the latter near Flint Hill. Lynn Curtis Keene of Arlington operating a 1961 Volkswagen was heading west on Route 211 when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve, ran off the left of the road, struck the bank and turned over into the left lane of the highway. The VW was owned? by Lloyd Dunegan, also of Arlington, who was a passen* ger at the time of the accident, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin who investigated. ..-ftoifa Keene and Dunegan were taken to Fauquier Hospfc tal, Warrenton by the Amissville Rescue Squad. Dunegan sustained abrasions of the left side of the face and Keene was x-rayed for chest injuries. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $700. Keene was charged with failing to keep his vehicle under proper control.
