Pvt. Abraham J. Burke,

Pvt. Abraham J. Burke, formerly of Washington, Virginia, is presently serving with the U. S. Army in Hawaii. He was inducted into the service June 7, 1965 and took basic training at Fort Gordon, Georgia. He took advanced Individual Training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky, and instruction in the operation of tanks.

Richard Carl Burke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke of Culpeper entered the Navy on November 10, 1965. He is taking training at Great Lakes, Illinois. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke, Washington, Virginia.

Swindler of Manassas and houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Pszinney, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pszinney, Mrs. Donnie Carroll and sons Jimmy and Eddie of Salem, Mass and Ted Pszinney of Cleveland, Ohio were guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler, Cal lers in the afternoon were Dr. W. Lucas and son Bill of Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. William Cloe of Stafford spent Thanksgiving Day with Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mrs. Cloe remained through Sunday. Mrs. T. W. Morrow, who has been visiting her daughters, Mrs. Pillar and Mrs. W. H. Cordle left Monday for Suffolk. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Monta gue spent the holiday in Devon, Pa. with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hole and family. Mrs. Robert Brown was a guest of relatives in Fairfax for the holiday and was joined by her daughter Miss Carolyn Brown of Washington, D. C. Dinner guests Thursday of Mrs. Nina B. Brown werelMr. and Mrs. Bennie Bruce of Front Royal and C. T. Bruce of Washington. Miss Susan Schaefer of Radford College spent the holiday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer. Additional guests for Thanksgiving dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Ron nie Jacobs of Warrenton, Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison and Francis Updike of V.P.I.

Mrs. J. B. Willis III and son Stevie spent from Monday to Thursday last week with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Willis in Charlottesville. Stevie remained for the weekend, returning to his home here Monday.
