Clean-Up Week
The Town Council of the Town of Washington designated April 16th through the 20th as Paint-Up, Fix-up and Cleanup time this year. On Saturday the 20th there will be an extra trash collection to take away the yearly accumulatioa This will be in addition to the regular monthly collection on the first Saturday of each month. The annual spruce-up campaign is held in anticipation of Garden Week visitors. Freshly painted trash cans have been placed throughout the town to replace the ones that have disappeared in the past year.

A Baked Sale will be held Saturday, April 13 at the Coi* ner Store in Sperryville, start ing at 10:00 a.m., sponsored by the Sperryville Methodist Church. Prepare for Easter entertaining from a variety of baked goods, available at the sale.
