Weekend visitors at Glen Eyrie, home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J, Miko were Mr. and Mrs.' Paul Housekneet of Baavla, New York and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hare of Springfield, Missouri. Mrs. Miko was taken early Saturday morning to the Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal for an emergency appendectomy. Mrs. Jesse Ward and Mrs. Mildred Smith of Echo Hill Farm spent Sunday in Warrenton, guests of Mrs. Ward’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Raymond where the birthday of Mrs. Ward was observed. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin and daughter Miss Nancy Buntin were guests from Friday until Sunday of Mr. Buntin’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Jennings in Danville. Miss Buntin returned Sunday afternoon to R. P. I. following spring vacation. Travis Dudley of New Kent was a weekend visitor in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell and enjoyed the open ing of the trout fishing season. Miss Peggy Palmer spent last week with her grandmother Mrs. J. A. Elmore in Alexandria. Mrs. C. B. Palmer visited her mother on! Saturday. Mrs. Elmore enter- i ed Alexandria Hospital during the week-end for treatment.
