LETTER OF APPRECIATION — BR1 L. R. Shumate and MMC R. V. Wayland, Assistant Commander and Commander of Company 7 “A" respectively, accept a letter of appreciation from Lt. P. D. McMahan, 7th Battalion Commander. The letter of appreciation was sent by Capt. Robert B. Baldwin,, of the U.S.S. Forrestal, for the contribution the Company made to the Forrestal Memorial Trust Fund. The monetary gift will be used to provide education for the children of men lost in the July 1 fire.
