Mrs. W. M. Fletcher spent several days last week with Mrs. Charlotte Wimbish in Richmond. Her nieces, Mrs. Marvin Ash of McLean and Mrs. William Swift and Mr. Swift of Arlington were guests on Sunday. Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea were in Saltville Friday to attend funeral services for Mrs. Lea’s uncle Mr. Walter P. Stuart, Jr. H. Magruder Keyser, Jr. and two sons Scott and Joe of Fairfax were luncheon guests Sunday of Mrs. H. M. Keyser. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer attended a Richmond Forum program Saturday night at the Mosque. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Smedley of Washington, D. C. Sunday guests were Cletus Burke and son of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Burke of Warrenton. Visitors Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Burke were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Dodson of Culpeper and their son and daughter-in-law Lt. Col. and Mrs. B. Dodson. Col. Dod son is home on leave from the Philippine Islands. Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett is spending this week with her son and daughter-in-law Dr. and Mrs. Brooke Moffett in Norfolk. Mrs. William Jennings of Burlington, N. C. is the guest this week of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Massie. Mr. Jennings was a weekend guest of the Massies.
