Joanne van Brederode of Bine Rock Farm, Washington receives the reserve champion award from Stanley Magee at the Ruritan Horse Show held Saturday in Amissville. Joanne won in the English Hunter classes. Champion of this group was Betty Dameron of Fredericksburg. Other local riders who championed were Alice Cleary who was Champion in the large pony classes and Brigid Cleary who took reserve. They were riding Blueberry and Sassafras, horses owned by Round About Farm. Soerrwille.
