Mrs. Isaac L. Parrish, active Rappahannock Community worker and mother, has again been named Christmas Seal Campaign Chairman for Rappahannock County by the board of the Tuberculosis and Health Association of Northern Virginia.
“Tuberculosis is still an active community disease in our area,” said Mrs. Parrish in accepting the appointment for the second consecutive year. “With emphysema now exceeding lung cancer and tuberculosis combined in our area, I feel my efforts during the Christmas Seal Campaign can’t be better spent than by asking for your support for this worthwhile health organization. I will do my best to contribute to better health in Rappahannock County. I hope others will join me by answering the Christmas Seal letters and using this symbol of better health on Christmas cards and letters.”
