Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brown of Culpeper were Sunday evening visitors of Mrs. Brown’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Gid Jenkins and her grandmother Mrs. Fred Jenkins.
Mrs. Mary Hood and son Bryan Hood of St. Louis, Mo. were guests last Wednesday of Mrs. R. W. Quaintance. Recent visitors were Mrs. Quaintance’s cousins Mrs. Mary Cummings and two daughters and Mrs. Joy Nicely, all of Clifton Forge.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Powers drove their sons Mark and Patrick to northern Virginia on Saturday afternoon. Mark was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bacher and daughter Suzanne of Great Falls to attend the International Horse Show at D.C. Armory on Saturday and Sunday night. Patrick was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Porter T. Walton and daughter Mary of Fairfax Station and on Saturday evening attended the Homecoming Dance at West Springfield High School and the International Horse Show Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard J. Waddell returned home Friday after a nine day vacation visiting friends and relatives in Charleston, Chattanooga, Crossville, Limestone and Kingsport, Tenn.
