Delegate’s seat, but in Rappahannock, Republican Preston Pulliam held t^ie majority of the total vote with Gibb carrying only one precinct, that of Hint Hill. The 28th District is composed of the counties of Rappahannock, Fauquier and Warren. Pulliam failed to carry his home county, Fauquier, and Gibb also had a substantial margin in Warren County. Write-in i candidate William Clarke made no great showing.
