Reids Sustain Minor Injuries In Crash
Mrs. Barbara Reid and son Murphy Reid Jr. of Castleton sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Monday near Rock Mills on Route 626. According to Trooper Paul Dicks, Mrs. Reid was operating a 66 Mustang when she skidded in the gravel on a curve, lost control of her car, ran into a ditch and struck a tree.
She sustained a laceration of the chin and abrasions of bbth legs and arms. Her son received a laceration of the face. They were taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Castleton Rescue Squad where they were treated and released.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $300.
Golf Tournament
John H. Williams and Henry Deel of Amissville were among the participants in the Fauquier Springs Seniors Golf Tournament, litey tied for the low gross in the tournament which was held Saturday and Sunday.
