Thursday evening guests of Mrs. H. B. Windrey were Dr. and Mrs. Andrew^ Robeson and children Taffy and Jim of Blacksburg. Friday luncheon guests were Mrs. G. H. Winfrey and daughters Marie and Susanne of Alexandria. Other callers during the week of Mrs. Winfrey were Mrs. F. H. White, Mr. and Mrs. John Piefer, Mrs. P. T. Cline, Miss Corinne White, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Beahm and Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Burke, all of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Burke were former residents of Woodville.
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson met IHehr son: Dr.<’James H. Johnson, Mrs. Johnson and family at Dulles Airport on Wednesday night on their return from a month’s tour of Europe.
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Lane and daughter June of Richmond were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson. Their weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Burgess, also of Richmond.
Mrs. C. W. Jenkins is visiting her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Jenkins and family in Fairfax.
Mr. and Mrs. James Falls and son Tim and Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Burke attended a surprise birthday dinner Sunday in Front Royal at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Burke in honor of Mrs. W. R. Burke’s birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners accompanied their son Larry to Stafford on Saturday to take his college placement test. Enroute they were luncheon guests of Major and Mrs. Charles Grizzle in Fredericksburg.
Jay and Janet Alther, Mrs. Garfield Burke and son Richie and Mrs. James Leake and daughter Pam spent Sunday at Graves Mountain Lodge.
