Mrs. Gibson Rowland of Falls Church was the weekend gutat of her cousin Mrs. W. M. Fletcher. Callers on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. John Higgins of St. Davids, Pa.

Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt returned Friday from a week’s visit in Gatlinburg, Tenn. where she was joined by her sister Mrs. Venita Davis of Denton, Texas.

The Rev. Edward Pruitt and family of Mathews spent Tuesday and Wednesday with the Rev. and Mrs. W. M. Hargett at The Rectory.

Mrs. Jack Bruce left Sunday from National Airport for Laguna Beach, Calif, for a two week’s visit with her daughter Miss Diane Bruce.

Mrs. T. L. Eastham with Mrs. James H. Johnson and daughter Joan of Lakeland, Fla. and Woodville and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. of Sperryville were luncheon guests last Wednesday at the Wayside Inn in Middletown.

William H. Stuart of Beltsville, Md. has been spending some time at his home on Blue Ridge Avenue.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Manuel, Jr. of Winchester were Sunday visitors of Mrs. J. M. Lillard. Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, Miss Mary Jenkins and Miss Ruby Jenkins spent several days last week with their daughter and sister Mrs. Catherine Vannoy in Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Snead, Jr. and son of Charlottesville spent the weekend with Judge and Mrs. Snead at Fairlea.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were the weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Metzger at Lorton.

Mrs. Brooke Moffett of Norfolk was a caller last Tuesday of Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett.

Guests Thursday thru Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark and daughter Sarah were Mrs. E.i S. Slack, daughter Donna and son Timothy of Baltimore, Md.

Friday evening Miss Sarah Clark hosted a cook-out by the pool at her home. Guests were her parents Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark, Mrs. Elmer Atkins, Beverly Atkins, Judy Atkins, Kenneth Gochenour and Bobby Brown of Sperryville, Mrs. E. S. Slack, Donna and Timothy Slack of Baltimore, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Eastham, Edie and Richie Eastham.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Frazier were Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Frazier of Woodbridge. Gerald Frazier is spending the summer with his grandparents the Robert Fraziers.
