Dr. and Mrs. James Thomton and family of Gate City are visiting relatives in the county this week.

The next meeting of the Chester Gap Home Demonstration Club will be held on Thursday, August 13 at 7:30 pjn. at the fire hall. All members are urged to attend. Patty Sibert of Front Royal spent Sunday night with Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Gilkey and family. On Sunday afternoon there was a softball game at Chester Gap ball field between Chester Gap and Puree 11 ville. The score was Purcellville 9, Chester Gap 6. Ray Priest of Front Royal spent Saturday night with Jerry Allen Williams. Last Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Goranson were Mr. Gora neon’s mother Mrs. Lydia Goranson of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Paul Begbeder of Alexandria. The Rev. and Mrs. Harold F. Carter and daughters Jennifer, Beverly and Martha Jane of Culpeper were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Williams. Also visiting them on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock. Sam North is a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Lewin Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wines of Front Royal. Mis. Marie Williams visited her sister Mrs. Lewis Butler Thursday night in Front Royal. Tim Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timmy Williams was a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital over the weekend.
