Wrecks Reported
Lawrence Edmunds Ward well Jr. of Sperryville sustained a bumped head and cut nose in a single-vehicle crash on Route 707 Saturday afternoon. Wardwell was driving a 69 Jeepster when he ran off the right of the road and struck a tree. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at a thousand dollars, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin.
Lacie R. Dodson of Flint Hill was involved in a one-car crash on Route 663 north of Flint Hill late Saturday. Dodson said he cut to miss a dog and ran out of the road incurring $400 in damages to his 70 Mercury, according to Trooper J. B. Willis.
