The Rappahannock 4-H Club Light Horse and Pony Qufe U sponsoring a horse show' on Saturday, October 24, 1970. The show will be held at Fair Les Farm, property of Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead, Washington, and u scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Admission is free and unch will be available on the grounds.
Three Marijuana
Charges Processed
Three of six young people booked in Rappahannock County on charges of possession of Marihuana were heard Friday in the County Court. Two of those charged entered a plea of guilty and the third case was nolle prosse.
Shelly Diane Soiworth of Warrenton and Kentucky pled guilty and on recommendation of George H. Davis, Jr., Commonwealth’s Attorney for Rappahannock County, she was given six months in jail suspended on good behavior for two years. Though she Is physically of age, she was returned to the custody of her father in Kentucky. Court costs were assessed.
Patrick Drifcoll, also of Warrenton and Kentucky, who pled guilty, was given a 12 month jail sentence which was suspended on good behavior for five years. He was also being held for Kentucky authorities on a fugitive warrant, for he had drug charge pending there.
The case of John R. Sessums was nolle prosse, on the motion of Mr. Davis.
Two of the remaining three cases will be heard on Novembei 24 and the other scheduled foi November 20.
