Mrs. T. C. Lea left Monday to attend funeral services for her uncle, Edgar FMassie in Lynchburg and will visit relatives in Lynchburg and Amherst. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin visited their daughter, Miss Nancy Buntin in Richmond Sunday and called on relatives at Lake O’ the Woods. Miss Carter Moffett will leave Friday for Blacksburg where she will attended Homecoming Weekend at V.P.I.

Mrs. I. R. Kilby was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club on Friday, October 9, at ha home. Her guests included Mrs. J. P. Snead, Jr., Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Roy Reeve, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. Edward Haggerty, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. R. E. Thompson and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Prizes were given Mrs. Pillar, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Cordle.
