Handcrafts Exhibit,
Sale Set Oct 17-18
The Arts and Crafts Group will have an Exhibit and Sale Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 at the small house adjoining the Washington House from 11 to 5 on Saturday, I to 5 on Sunday. This building is located two doors from Merrill’s Garage in Washington, Va.
Of particular interest on Saturday is a special Exhibit and Sale of Ceramics done by Woodrow Bennett and her students. Those wishing to view the exhibit are advised to come early, before articles are sold.
A large variety of local handicraft will be exhibited for sale. The Rappahannock Junior Woman’s Club is also participating in this sale with home preserved and baked goods.
Persons who plan to sell who have not contacted Mrs. Helen Kilby, 987-2551-must do so by Friday.
Luncheon Served on
House Tour Days
A Fried Chicken Plate Luncheon will be served across the street from Trinity Episcopal Church Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 by the Citizens League. Opening at 9:30, hot coffee will be available as well as other beverages and food stuff.
Church Notice
