ANNOUNCEMENT^ Mr. Harry Gilroy of Huntly, will be tha next guest speaker in the Information and Entertainment series, on Friday, October 23, at 8 pjn. at the Library. During his distinguished career with the New York Times, Mr. Gilroy served as foreign correspondent and as Editor of the Sunday Book Review Section. He has interviewed many famous writers, and will recount some of these interviews, discussing personalities many of you know, and describing their techniques in writing. This should be a most interesting and entertaining program. This is a personal invitation to you • do come! No charge, of course.
DID YOU KNOW that the U.S. Government publishes many practical pamphlets and leaflets covering a wide variety of subjects, at a very nominal cost? A few titles:

Two Grain-Feed Handling Centers....5 cents. A list of Government publications is posted on the Library Bulletin Board. Orders may now be placed for the 1971 “Your Federal Income Tax” for individuals, and “Tax Guide for Small Business”, both of which are scheduled to be mailed in December 1970. For further information see or call the Librarian. A Children’s Hour is held each Saturday morning, from 10 to 11 o’clock. A volunteer reads to the children, coloring sheets and crayons are provided, and the children select books for home reading. Why not round up a group in your area and bring them?
