Mrs. Brenda Nalls Grubbs, formerly of Washington, Va., la a member of a U. S. Department of Agriculture 14-member team which has been given the Presidential Management Improvement Award. Mrs. Grubbs works with the USDA's Farmers Home Administration in a unit responsible for rural housing. She and her colleagues were recognized for developing a program in which more rural people are living better today than 12 months ago due to fresh and positive approaches to America’s hard-core housing problems. Mrs. Grubbs attended Rappahannock County High School. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Nalls now of Alexandria and the sister of Mrs. Bill Jenkins, Washington, Va. She has been employed by FHA in Washington, D. C. for five years and lives with her husband, John, and small son in Manassas._
