Latham. On Sunday Mn. Latham accompanied Mr. and Mn. G. E. Doyle to Washington, D. C. where they were joined by Mn. Sandra Todd and daughter Candy of Silver Spring, Md. and Dr. Randolph Smith of Arlington for dinner in celebration of Mr. Doyle’s birthday.
Mr. and Mn. W. F. Bear Jr. and son Eric left by plane Friday for Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif, where they spent the weekend and returned home Sunday. Chad Bear, their younger son, spent the weekend with his grandparents Mr. and Mn. W. A. Stickley in Vienna.
0. C. Mitchell is a patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton which he entered on Tuesday. His daughter, Mn. Robert Sweetser of Rockville, Md., is staying with Mn. Mitchell and visiting her father. The Rev. and Mrs. James Harrison of Hampton spent the weekend camping on Skyline Drive and were guests for dinner Sunday evening of Mr. and Mn. G. E. Doyle. Mr. Harrison is a former pastor of Arpissville Methodist Church. Mn. Louise Richardson of Stanardsville was the speaker last Wednesday at the luncheon meeting of the Amissville Methodist W.S.C.S. held at the church. Visiting members from Jeffenonton Methodist Church were present to hear Mn. Richardson who spoke on the mission assembly held recently in Fexas. Mn. G. A. Harvey and children rracey and Kelly of Farifax spent the weekend with Mr. and Mn. Blwood Dean. Mrs. Dean entertained the Esther Circle of the W.S.C.S. of Annandale United Methodist Church with a luncheon on Tuesday. John Lawrence is a patient in Newton D. Baker Hospital, Martinsburg, W. Va. where he will undergo surgery. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mn. Stanley Settle and family were Mr. and Mn. Clarence Weaver of Madison. Mn. Ethel Cooksey was a dinner guest Sunday of the Rev. and Mn. A. C. Walker and family in Culpeper. In the afternoon she visited Mn. Annie Latham in Sunset Haven Nursing Home, Griffinsburg and accompanied Mr. Walker and son Philip to Bridgewater where Philip is a student at Bridgewater College.
Mn. Linda Brock of Lexington, Neb. was an overnight guest Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchefl Green and family, Melody' and C.M. and was joined Friday by Mr. and Mn. Dick Sandridge with whom she returned to Elkton for a visit before returning to her home. Mn. W. 0. Cooley of Bethesda, Md. was a visitor during the weekend of the Green family.
Revival Announced
The Rev. Charles Talmore of Richmond will be the guest speaker at a revival at The Church of God of Prophecy in SperryviUe, which begins on Thursday, October 15 at 7:30 pjn. The public is invited to attend.
