Ray V. Sonner, Executive Assistant to the President of Madison College, Harrisonburg will be the speaker at the Twentyfirst Commencement Exercise at Rappahannock County High School on the evening Of June 9th. Mr. Sonner is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Public School Administration and Supervision at the University of Virginia* He holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Virginia and obtained his A. B. Degree from Lynchburg College. He served with the United States Army in the Pacific Theater from 1943-46. He has been an English teacher at Hopewell and Harrisonburg High Schools. From 1965-58 he was Assistant Principal and Coordinator of Diversified Occupations at Harrisonburg High School and served as principal of this school from 1958-63. During 1963-64 he was appointed as Administrative Assistant to the President of Madison College and later became Harrisonburg’s School Superintendent. In 1969 he became Director of Field Services
