Fincham
A funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Clore Funeral Home for Moffett Spillman Fincham of Culpeper who died May 15, 1971 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. He was 60.
A native of Rappahannock County, he had lived in Culpeper for many years. He was the son of the late James Oscar and Myrtle Horton Fincham, and a member of Slate Mills Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Virginia Wines Fincham, survivors include four sons, John Fincham and Noah Linwood Fincham, both of Culpeper, Jack Fincham of Bladensburg, Md., and Patrick Fincham of Annandale; two daughters, Mrs. William Johannes of Haywood and Miss Clara Fincham of Culpeper; four brothers, Bernard Fincham of Culpeper, Grover Fincham of Middletown, and Walter and Bundick Fincham, both of Stephens City; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Streets of Arlington, Mrs. Walter Fincham of Culpeper and Mrs. Virginia Beacon of Baltimore. The Rev. John S. Farrar and the Rev. Edward Wines of Culpeper conducted the funeral service. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
