Moffett Reid Scott, 74, of Viewtown, died May 13, 1971 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
A funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Forest Grove Baptist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. John Gabbert, conducting the service. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Scott was the son of the late William Montgomery Scott and the late Lessie Settle Scott of Viewtown. He is survived by one son, Charles H. Scott of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Victoria Corder of Amissville and Mrs. Irene Norman of Front Royal; and two grandchildren, Mrs. Barbara Ann Jarvis and Charles H. Scott of Anaheim, Calif.
