idle bands often create lonely people. Sometimes our senior citizens find themselves unhappy because there is so little to do. The Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper feels that “one of the characteristics of a good home for the aging is opportunities for creativity.” The Hobby Shop at the Baptist Home is filled with picturesque crafts made by the residents.
On Saturday, December 4, the shop will have a Christmas Bazaar from 10 a.m until 4 p.m. The public is invited to come and do their Christmas shopping.
Mrs. Lucy Depro, manager of the shop says the Bazaar will feature many crafts suitable for Christmas decorations and presents.
All of the money paid for an item goes to the resident who created it. ~
