Carnivals feature parades and the Washington Fire Company sponsored a big parade Thursday night with marching units, music, fire and rescue equipment and many other entries. The Ladies Auxiliary of McGhaeysville in excellent formation and time took first place in their category. McGhaeysville took prizes in other classes also.
