H. P. Cheney and sisters, Mrs. S. M. Shelton and Mrs. A. E. Parks made a trip to Spencerville, Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Williams and family of Warwick, R.I., arrived Saturday to spend a week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Williams of Huntly. On Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bovill and family of Silver Spring, Md., joined them for a picnic dinner.
Bruce Shelton of Winchester called on his greatgrandmother, Mrs. M. M. Shelton and family Tuesday.
The Daily Vacation School at the Baptist Church closed Sunday evening with a program by the scholars which was well attended. The report of the school showed an enrollment of 109, an average attendance of 93 per day and 67 with perfect attendance, which set a new record for the Bible school in this community. □
