Miss Harriet Morrison Manuel of Front Royal and Frank Blackwell Jones of Manning, S. C., were married in the Browntown Baptist ’ Church at two thirty in the afternoon, Saturday, June 3. The Rev. H. Felix Sanders, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Robert Alderman of Roanoke, a cousin of the bridegroom, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Franklin Manuel of Front Royal and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Rou Jones of Manning, S. C.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full length gown of imported organza and Venise lace forming a demibell silhouette. The lace bodice featured a mandrin collar and short puffed sleeves with lace cuffs. The same lace bordered the gathered skirt. A daisy design accented the waistline, outlined the train and encircled the skirt. The mantilla was held by a Juliette cap and she carried five white rosebuds.
