A SERIES of traffic incidents have been reported on Rappahannock roads with injuries and damage moderate. ^June 15, a collision occurred on Route 647 east of Flint Hill involving a Ford dump truck and an International Scout. TroopTrooper W. A. Buntin investigated the accident at 10 a.m. No charges were made.

The truck, ownedby William Partlow, Inc. of Culpeper, was operated by Simon Douglas Brown. In the 72 Scout were Mrs. Aileen Austill Barnes of Flint Hill and her two small children.

According to the officer, the vehicles met on the narrow, wet road when Mrs. Barnes applied her brakes and skidded into the truck. She sustained lacerations of the left eye and chin and had a shoulder injury. She was treated at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, and released.

Douglas Barnes, 2, received a severe laceration of the neck and was admitted to the same hospital.

The driver of the truck had a forehead and chin laceration.
