Thurman Wilson
Thurman Joseph Wilson, Jr., 52, of Orange died Tuesday, November. 21, 1972 at his home. He was an employee of American Silk Mills in Orange. He was born in Rappahannock County son of the late Thurman Joseph and Julia Thorn Wilson.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Rudie Christine | Wharton Wilson of Orange; two sons, Clarence Lee and Roger Lee Wilson, both of Orange; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Rider of Locust Dale, and five grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, William Wilson of Orlean, Thomas and Russell Wilson of Orange; three sisters, Mrs. Acrey Dodson of Amissville, Mrs. Bennie Knighton and Mrs. Frances Moubray, both of Alexandria.
Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. from Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, conducted by the Rev. Floyd Binns.
