The U. S. Department of Agriculture has announced that the incentive price of 72 cents a pound for marketings of shorn wool and 4y£upport of 80.2 cents a pound for mohair will continue unchanged in 1973 from 1972 levels.

These prices are in accordance with the National Wool Act as amended by the Agricultural Act of 1970 which requires that the support shall be at the above levels for each of the three marketing years through the end of 1973.

Pulled wool will continue to be supported at a level comparable to the incentive price for shorn wool through payments on unshorn lambs.
