struck and killed a deer on Route 211 three miles west of Amissville. According to Trooper Deane, the car veered off the left of the road after the impact and crashed into a bank. Damage was estimated at a thousand dollars.

Roger Dennis Jenkins of Luray operating a 67 Chevrolet struck a horse owned by Alson Atkins of Sperryville. Estimate of damage to the car was $900; and the horse, valued at $400, had to be destroyed, according to Trooper G. F. Gregory. □
