These books will not be long, dry books, and they will not be school books. They will be lively reading for students whether they are reading 5th grade or 12th grade level literature.
The categories of books from which to chose are varied; there will be some.thing to please almost every taste and interest: Humorous books, suspense books, books about exciting people, books about nature, animals, wildlife and conservation subjects.
ELEMENTARY school students will have to write simple reviews of only 75 to 100 words. The interesting reviews will appear in the Rappahannock News.
For the high school students the reviews will not be school-type book reports. The judging will be predicated on what a student derives from reading, not on how he or she writes. As a starter, there are sets of simple questions the contestant can answer about the book of his choice.
