THE 1974 Annual Meeting of the Virginia Angus Association was held January 18 and 19 at the Ramada Inn in Charlottesville, featuring as guest speaker Lt. Gov. John N. Dalton. More than 118 Angus breeders and enthusiasts from across the Old Dominion attended.

Newly elected officers for the 1974 calendar year are: President, William B. McSpadden, White Oak Spring Farm, Chilhowie; Vice-President, Williams. “Tom” Stokes III, Ayrshire Farm, Upperville; Treasurer, Carl H. Craig, Jr., Windy Cove Farm, Middlebrook; and Executive Secretary, D. R. “Pete” Lohr, Burgundy Farm, Orange.

Newly elected directors of the Association are Mrs. Ruth Landers, Arrowhead Farm, Herndon; Paul Grinde, White Hall Farm, Charlottesville; J. Newbill Miller, The Maples, Washington; R. Carroll Grove, Windy Grove Farm, Waynesboro; and William B. McSpadden, White Oak Spring Farm, Chilhowie.
