THE LAST days of school are approaching and it’s that time of year again...EXAM TIME!!! Exams will begin on Monday and end Wednesday which is the last day of school. Cheerleading tryouts were held last week to pick new cheerleaders for next year. Miss Clark will sponsor the J.V.’s. Their squad consists of Mae Dunn, Patsy Vest, Nina Metzinger, Julie Lum, Sherry Settle, Natalie Swindler, Fay Carter, and Laura Pendleton.
Mrs. Toth will be sponsoring the Varsity squad. Those who made this squad are Cindy Cumins, Beth Parker, Connie DelGrosso, Raye Rector, Millie North, Frances Timbers, Susan Coates, and me.
The last special event for the Seniors before graduation was the Senior Trip. They spent the weekend in Williamsburg and returned to school on Monday. The trip was financed by bake sales, Senior Slave Day, and the Flea Market which was held in April.
