Miss Bruce &
A funeral service for Miss Ivy Lee Bruce of Woodville was held Friday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.
Miss Bruce, 71, a former teacher in Rappahannock County schools, died May 22, 1974 at her residence following a long illness. She was a native of Sperryville, daughter of the late Marcus W. Bruce and Inez Heaton Bruce. She was a member of Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Compton of Reva, Mrs. Chloe Brown and Miss Elva Bruce, both of Woodville; and one brother, F. Marion Bruce of Woodville.
