Grant approved

for ambulance

A $7,000 federal grant has been awarded Rappahannock County for emergency medical services during the 1974-75 fiscal year. The allocation is available under the U.S. Highway Safety Act of 1966 and its revisions and administered by the Highway Safety Division of Virginia, according to Director John T. Hanna. The grant will enable Rappahannock County to purchase a custom-built raised roof ambulance to be based at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad headquarters.□
