The charter meeting of the Creative Writing Society, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Linda Toth, met at Rappahannock County High School and elected officers.
Named as president was Mary Elizabeth Parker and Pat Dodson was elected vice president. Sue Titchenell is secretary; Andrew Nichols, treasurer; Cindy Cumins, historian/reporter and photographers are Terri Halle, Maureen Day and Judi Burke.
