REPRESENTATIVES OF TWO STATE agencies have visited Rappahannock recently to provide state support in the construction of the county’s new Recreation center on Route 211 near Washington, Va. Miss Angie Currant, co-ordinator of the Urban Assistance Incentive Fund of the Office of Human Resources in Richmond, made her second visit to Rappahannock Wednesday, September 25, to discuss budgeting and accounting procedures in connection with the state grant of $15,000 to the Rappahannock Recreation Center. It is expected that the first check for $5,000 will be in the hands of county authorities by November 1.
Phil Hester, of the.Office of Recreation in Richmond made his second inspection tour of the local site on Monday, September 30.
