Rappahannock High Cross Country Team began Skyline District competition Tuesday with a perfect score win over Montevideo High. The 15-47 score indicates that the first five runners across the finish line were Rappahannock men. The low score wins. ‘Bill Taylor led the local harriers with a new course record of 16 minutes 33.3 seconds over the three-mile Montevideo course.
The other four scoring places were taken by Jerry Thomas, Ronnie Nicholson, Raymond Groves and Clifton Jenkins.
