The class with the most points at the end rrf the competition would supposedly be the leading class in selling magazines for this year’s campaign. Well, if the outcome holds true, our sophomores should be high salesmen but the seniors weren’t far behind—and they claim they are going to be the high salespeople. Better watch out sophomores!
The annual staff has been working hard this week. Group pictures were taken Tuesday.
Several members of the creative writing society are competing in a contest designed to inspire reading among students. Possible categories of enry include book reviews, advertising and persuasion, editor for the day and original group project. Four first prize winners will receive $50 each and 20 second prize winners will get $10 each. Those participating are Patsy Robinson, Roberta Harrison and Cindy Cumins.
Boys JV and Varsity basketball - practice and tryouts have begun and it looks like we’ve got a large number interested this year.
Hey, Panthers, our S.C.A. is going to be sponsoring a school cleanup campaign in the near future but we can be doing our part now by helping to keep trash off the-grounds" and'in*lire tra'sh cans. Let's make R.C.H.S. a school we can always be_proud of.
