Thornhill

Otis Rathborn Thornhill Sr., 95, died November 2, 1975, at his home in Culpeper. He was a native of Rappahannock County, the son of the late Daniel Wingfield and Corella Hudson Thornhill. His wife was the late Pearl Early Thornhill.

Mr. Thornhill was a retired postmaster at Culpeper, a former member of the Culpeper Town Council, retired director and vice president of Culpeper National Bank and retired manager of Culpeper Livestock Market. He was a member of Fairfax Masonic Lodge #43 for more than fifty years and was a deacon of Culpeper Baptist Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Miss Laura Thornhill, at home; two sons, O. L. Thornhill, Jr. of Culpeper and D. W. Thornhill of Arlington; seven grand children
